Internship with DRaS-Praghna Research Writing Program

In its mission to promote research and publication in the areas of interest to both institutions, this initiative invites and trains young graduate, post-graduate and research scholars to undertake and write research articles/papers, case studies and book reviews.

Period of Internship

§   For graduate students: up to 45 days

§   For Post-Graduate and research scholars: up to 90 days

Program

§   In the first session of internship, an orientation on research writing and book review techniques will be conducted online

§   In the remaining period of the program, Interns will undertake study, research and draft work on a paper or book review with guidance from three eminent Mentor-Guides

§   Interns are to attend weekly review meetings and submit their work as directed by Program Guide

§   Seven days before the end of the program, Interns will present their work. These presentations will be for 10/20 minutes followed by Q&A

§   The Panel of Mentors/invited guests will share additional inputs to the Intern for critically reviewing his/her work

§   On completion of Internship, completed papers and book reviews will be submitted to the Program Guide for consideration and publication

§   The program is conducted online through Google Meet on every Saturday

 What the Intern can look for

§   Guidance from accomplished Mentors (Visit www.dras.in/internships/ to know their profile

§   Learning about Paper writing, reviewing and citation styles (APA style, especially)

§   Guidance on use of appropriate software for paper writing

§   Critical review on research undertaken

Recognition

§   Publication of research paper with doi in forthcoming Issue of EJSSS (only full length research papers) and on the website of DRaS

§   Certificate of Internship

§   Certificate of Publication of paper/book review, subject to acceptance of the work by Editorial Board of EJSSS.

Program Fee

The internship with DRaS-Praghna carries a fee of INR 2950/ for this program. All activities related to the internship will be carried out through email, video conferencing only. Any research project undertaken by an intern for doing field study or for case studies will be at his/her own cost.
